Trebal Mapoch, in the locality of Padre Hurtado, is the city waste water treatment plant, one of the most important in Latin America. After modernisation of the plant and the incorporation into its processes of efficient energy use, im3 is invited together with other consultancies to propose improvements to boost the quality of the electrical power in the supply grids and then design,

supply and implement different detuned dynamic reactive compensation systems and produce a detailed study of its earth systems.

Once the different engineering designs had been produced, im3 took part in an open tendering process to supply and supervise implementation of the modernisation measures in the plant.
