Ingenieros Emetres S.A. renews framework contract as sole engineering consultancy on substation engineering for Enel Distribución Chile S.A.

Ingenieros Emetres S.A. won the S-LXS 02/2017 tendering process for the framework contract for “drawing up substation projects” for ENEL Distribución Chile S.A.

This framework contract is for 3 years, 2017-2020, and follows on from the previous framework contract successfully executed for 5 years by Ingenieros Emetres S.A., from 2012 to 2017.
Enel Distribución Chile S.A. is the biggest electrical power distribution company in Chile, accounting for 40% of the total sales by distributors in 33 districts in the Metropolitan Region. Including the areas covered by Empresa Eléctrica de Colina Ltda. and Luz Andes Ltda, the concession affects an area of 2,105.4 km2.
Enel Distribución Chile S.A. has a total of 55 electricity distribution substations at different voltages, 220 kV, 110 kV and 44 kV, on the HV side, distributing in 23 kV and 12 kV, depending on the supply zone.
