The IEC 61850 standard is today’s winning technology for Substations. However, to benefit from all its advantages you need to be up to date with the latest news.

Im3 chose to launch this scoop in Medellín, Colombia, the ‘energy capital’ of America, and technological hub of the digital substation, a city that is home to the largest number of public and private laboratories for testing the 61850 and PTP-PowerProfile standards.

The event took place on the afternoon of July 17 in the training classroom of the new office of the Im3 group in Medellín, located at 7D #43A -40, El Poblado.

The training module ‘new logical nodes: more and better functionalities’ provides the formula for the brilliant use of the new logical nodes of the IEC 61850-7-4:2010+AMD1:2020 CSV, including the new logical nodes of sections 410 and 420 that are of general interest.
