Meeting with the Colombian Government

On April 20, a high-level institutional meeting was organized by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Bogotá, in which Im3 Colombia participated, represented by its Country Manager in Colombia Daniel Sanchez Ruber.

The meeting was attended by the current Minister of Energy and Mines of the Colombian Government, Mrs. Irene Vélez, the Vice Minister Mr. Cristian Díaz and the Director of the UPME (Mining-Energy Planning Unit) Mr. Adrián Correa.

In this meeting, framed in the activities of the Commission of Infrastructure and Renewable Energies (CIER) of the Chamber, a Commission in which im3Colombia participates as an active member, the fundamental issues that concur in the Colombian electricity sector and concern companies belonging to the CIER were discussed.

During the event and meeting, the Minister presented the government plan for the sector and how it benefits companies and commissions that seek the constant improvement of Colombian infrastructure. The companies that are part of the CIER exposed the points of improvement that they have been working on for several months of conversations.
