Energy efficiency studies on the premises of the Ballerina laboratory

Ballerina, a firm that makes hair and household products, relies on im3 for its energy development.

The incorporation of advanced automation systems in the project to modernise Ballerina’s new production lines involved a series of problems with the quality of electrical power within the plant. This put the existing infrastructures to the test.

Our engineers, with their vast experience in analysing power supplies and quality, carried out a series of checks on the system networks (studies of harmonics and the earth system),

leading to a list of recommendations and modernisation measures required, to be included in a project involving the design, scaling and subsequent supply, installation and commissioning of reactive compensation equipment, harmonic mitigation and improvements to the earth system.

The results of all these measures and recommendations in the modernisation project enabled the plant to improve the operational continuity of its processes.
