The contract starts in October 2019 and includes conceptual, basic and detailed engineering of substations, as well as design, installation, commissioning and maintenance works for all the telecontrol systems of Enel-Codensa’s 170 substations in Bogota and Cundinamarca: 7 HV/HV, 58 HV/MV and 105 MV/MV
The consortium’s staff has more than 70 professionals, including engineers, draughtsmen and technicians, to provide support to a group of plans for the standardisation, improvement and enlargement of Enel-Codensa’s substations in Bogota and Cundinamarca.
The main plans include: standardisation of the measurement code of existing substations, replacement of primary equipment in most substations, enlargement of substations with new transformation bays and line bays, and new substations with AIS, HIS and GIS technologies, and digital PAC architecture according to IEC 61.850.
The most powerful commercial software solutions are used for calculations, mainly ELCAD and SAP-200. In the design area, a complete migration to collaborative platforms based on BIM Revit has begun, while Tekla has been used for manufacturing and assembly plans.
