Resources that Nature offers us

The efficiency of a petrol engine is 56.5% and that of a diesel engine is 63.2%. Current electric motors are around 75% (the most optimistic dream of being able to reach 86%).

However, the performance of a bacterial engine, which bases its driving force on a proton pump (H⁺ ions), is practically 100%, reaching up to 100,000 revolutions per minute and a speed equivalent to 2,160 km/h.
